Stay Terms and Conditions of Sale

1- General
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern the provision of language immersion teaching services in France (“Services”) by Marie MONIN (“Teacher”) sale proprietorship of FRENCHIMMERS with Marie (French registration: SIRET N° 94277810100017) to the client (“Client”). By engaging the Services, the Client agrees to these Terms.
2- Services
2.1 The services provided are described in the price section of the website, and depending on the chosen formula (https://www.frenchimmers.com/).The services common to all the formulas for a week (7 days/6 nights) are:
- 15 hours of individual coursework (2 ½ hours/day)
- A learning activity “Discovering the Vieux Lyon”, beginning at St Bonnet de Mure by public transportation (around 4 hours) with the Teacher
- Linguistic immersion in daily life (shopping at the supermarket, the open-air market on Thursday or Saturday morning, exploring by foot, exercising/sports are available)· If the Client arrive at the International Airport LYON (or by the SNCF TGV train at Lyon-St-Exupéry station), the Teacher can pick up and drop off the Client (arrival and departure) to take home with a private car
- Evenings in a private room (with private bath), Towels and sheets are provided
- French breakfast· One meal a day: lunch or dinner (extra meal: 10€ per person)
- Wi-Fi free access
- Pool access: under certain conditions (times to be agreed with the teacher, and only in her presence)
2.2 The services do not include the following expenses for the Client and for the Teacher (it’s your responsibility):·
- All travel expenses (as a reminder, flights and visas are not included in the costs): Public Transportation tickets (TCL), or if we use my private car, fees by kilometer at 0.60 €/KM + tolls
- Entry fees for museums, exhibitions, various tastings, discoveries, and other events we undertake off-site
- Meals that we could have during a day outside learning activities (possibly picnics!)
2.3 The services include a tailored schedule (“planning”) for the stay agreed between the Client and the Teacher.
2.4 An individual educational monitoring booklet may be provided at the end of the language immersion (Clients must notify the Teacher before the start of the stay of their wish to have this booklet at the end of the week).
2.5 A certificate of attendance could be given to the Client upon request.
3-Fees and Payment
3.1 The total fee for the stay depends on the formula chosen but includes the services described in section 2.1: Basic formula is 1550€, Formula + is 1750€ and Formula ++ is 2000€, for one person (adding a person, in the same room: 350€ extra per week).
3.2 A deposit of 50% of the total fee must be paid at the time of booking to secure the reservation. This deposit is non-refundable.
3.3 The remaining fees must be paid no later than 30 days before the arrival date.

4-Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds
4.1 If the Client needs to cancel before the full deposit (cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date), rescheduling will be offered but no refunds. The weather cannot be considered a reason to cancel the stay.
4.2 For cancellations made within the month of arrival: a rescheduling date will first be sought with the Client, or 40% of the total fee will be refunded only for unforeseen surgeries or close family member’s passing (spouse, father/mother, children or siblings).
4.3 If the cancellation is due to a force majeure event on the Teacher part (an unforeseeable and insurmountable event), rescheduling will be offered, or all the prices will be refunded.
4.4 If the Teacher is unable to provide the agreed Services due to unforeseen circumstances that occur during the stay (such as illnesses, physical injuries or a close friend or family member’s passing), a prorated refund will be offered for the missed days.
5-Responsibilities of the Client
5.1 The Client needs to have adequate insurance civil liability, repatriation and any insurance for any health costs that could occur during the stay.
5.2 The Client is required to report any food or other allergy problems to the Teacher in writing (email) before the arrival of the stay.
5.3 The Client is aware that he will need to sign a liability waiver for the Teacher upon arrival.
5.4 The Client must respect the accommodation and facilities provided, ensuring they are kept in good condition (he will be responsible for reimbursement in case of breakage or damage of more than 50€ in the teacher’s house).
5.5 The Client is hereby informed that he does not have access to the basement or upper floor of the house.
